Inszone Insurance Services Acquires Webtec Insurance Services, Inc., Strengthening Personal Lines Presence in California and Colorado

Business Wire

SACRAMENTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Inszone Insurance Services, a rapidly growing national provider of commercial, personal, and benefits insurance, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Webtec Insurance Services, Inc., a specialized insurance agency primarily focused on auto and homeowners insurance.

Founded over 40 years ago, Webtec Insurance Services built a strong reputation serving the personal insurance needs of individuals and families. Originally based in California, which remains the bulk of its business, the agency later relocated its home base to Colorado. Known for its family-run approach and dedication to its policyholders, the agency has spent decades cultivating longstanding client trust.

The founder of Webtec explained that the decision to partner with Inszone came down to retirement planning, a desire to retain their dedicated staff, and the need for a stronger infrastructure to support their core market.

"After over 40 years in this business, I knew it was time to start looking toward retirement, but I wanted to make sure our clients and our team were taken care of," said the former owner of Webtec Insurance Services. "We liked what Inszone had to offer. Being able to keep our current staff was a big part of the decision."

"Webtec Insurance Services represents exactly the kind of agency partnership we value," said Chris Walters, CEO of Inszone Insurance Services. "Their team built their business by putting clients first and fostering deep roots in their communities. Their expertise in auto and homeowners insurance makes them an outstanding addition to Inszone as we continue expanding our capabilities in the West."

Inszone remains focused on preserving the local identity and relationships that make independent agencies successful. Existing team members will remain in place, allowing clients to continue working with the people they know and trust while gaining access to expanded carrier relationships, technology, operational resources, and broader market expertise.
